Semi-Independent Living (SIL) is for adults who are ready to live independently in the community with some help in daily living. This service is available to individuals who own, lease, or rent their own homes and to individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
Supports are tailored to the unique needs, abilities, and preferences of the individual. The type of support can change as people learn new skills and build the confidence to complete tasks independently
BeConnected supports individuals through one-to-one or group arrangements. Supports may be delivered through BeConnected employees or independent contractors. Semi-Independent Living services are available across the mid-south island, from Greater Victoria to as far north as Campbell River, and Salt Spring Island.
