BC Government Announces an Increase in PWD Rates

The new BC Government has announced that benefit rates for people with disabilities and those living on social assistance will increase by $100/month. An individual receiving disability assistance will now receive $1,133 a month starting on September 20, 2017. Read the full news release for more information.

Annual Spring Food Drive!

After the increase in donations around the holidays, food banks receive very few donations and often run low come springtime. That’s why BeConnected holds an annual Spring food drive to help those in need in our community!
We will once again be donating to the Mustard Seed Food Bank. Donations are due to Head Office or a BeConnected program by Thursday May 18th. Together we CAN!
