9th Annual BSS Art Show

The 9th Annual BeConnected Art Show is now open! Stop by the Spiral Cafe for the month of August and check out some of the fabulous pieces. 100% of the purchase price goes to the artist.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19 we are unable to host our usual Opening Night Celebration, but that doesn’t stop us from celebrating our artists’ art together. We hope you enjoy this special video presentation of many of the works hanging (and for sale!) for the month of August at the Spiral Cafe

Free Virtual Workshop: Breathing Wellness into Supportive Relationships

As part of the South Island Education Committee we are excited to offer our first ever virtual workshop! Presented by Dr. Don Castaldi, the workshop will be dedicated to employee wellness, self care and maintenance, and mindfulness tools.
While this workshop builds off the previous 101 session, you do not need to have attended to participate in the 102.
The workshop will be held on Friday, June 12 2020 from 9:30am-12:00pm and is FREE for all participants!

Samsung Technology Initiative in partnership with Autism Speaks Canada

Canadians with a diagnosis of ASD who do not currently have a touch device can apply to receive one of the 1000 Samsung Tablets Autism Speaks Canada and Samsung Canada are providing. These devices will assist individuals and families with the disruptions faced in accessing critical resources, supports, and services during this time.
Apply http://autismspeaks.ca/SamsungTech. Deadline for application is May 15, 2020.
