May 21, 2015
Update (04/06/15): Unfortunately the Nathan Ory workshop scheduled for June 10th has been postponed. We will try to reschedule the workshop for sometime in July or September.
(21/05/15): We are very excited to announce that Nathan Ory is coming BACK to Victoria on June 10th from 1:00-4:30 to present “202” of How to Support a Person Who is Emotionally Fragile and Explosive: what you can do when nothing else works. You need not have attended Nathan’s “101” session back in April in order to attend.
Nathan has been a registered psychologist for more than 30 years. He has worked in and around Victoria since 1978 with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He specializes in autism spectrum disorders, fetal alcohol syndrome, extremely challenging behavior, and persons who are dually diagnosed with one of these conditions and a mental health disorder. He regularly speaks throughout the United States and Canada, and we are very excited to be a part of South Island Education Committee that is hosting him.
